We are a Baptist church in the city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In our weekly Sunday gathering, ministry, and community, we seek to be people who serve Christ for God's glory and others' good. Northbrook feels like family; it's a place where relationships run deep, where we care about each others' struggles, and where we are all doing our best to point each other to Christ, our ultimate hope.

This Season at Northbrook

Our Men's and Ladies Bible Studies are to begin meeting for the fall the second week of September. The Men's Study will be continuing through the book of Ephesians and plans to meet on Tuesday nights weekly. The Thursday night Ladies Bible Study will be going through Nancy Guthrie's "Saints and Scoundrels in the Story of Jesus."

On September 21st, there will be an Elder Review for Elder Candidate Adam Michaelis at 11 a.m. following the morning service. This is a time that Adam will respond to various theological questions from the congregation and share more about his spiritual journey.

Members, you can plan on a 2 p.m. Member Meeting on September 28th, followed by an Ice Cream Sundae Fellowship!
